Arterial Traffic Added to Google Maps

Google have today added traffic conditions on arterial roads in selected cities on Google Maps. This could prove very handy during rush hour when the highways are jammed.

To view arterial traffic conditions use the traffic button at the top right of Google Maps. When you are zoomed out Google Maps shows the traffic conditions on highways, but as you zoom in on an area in major cities traffic conditions will now show up on other roads.

Now this is useful! Not everybody uses highways...

Hope we have this in Mexico as well, someday soon!
